Please join faculty and students from Vancouver Community College to protest the IRCC (Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) changes to international student visas and post-graduate work permits, changes that have caused massive cuts to programs, loss of opportunities for students, and job losses for faculty and staff. In advance of the federal election, let’s give the Liberal government a strong message: The IRCC changes were brought in too quickly, without a plan, and without consultation. The results are devastating to our institutions and are having dire economic consequences in the communities they serve.
